Week of May 22nd
Prayer Service - On Tuesday, May 23rd, we will celebrate a Prayer Service at 8:00am in the gym for all the 2nd Graders who received their First Holy Communion this past Sunday. Please drop your child off at the gym on Tuesday morning, not the schoolyard as usual.
Field Trip - This Thursday, May 25th, is our field trip to Plimoth Patuxet Museum. I will be sending home a letter with all the information you and your child need to know about the trip! We are all very excited!!
Month of Mary - May is the month of Mary, the Mother of God. We will be celebrating Mary this whole month by praying the rosary, crowning Mary at Mass, and learning about her life as the Mother of God.
IXL - Our school has purchased the license to a new website called IXL which helps students practice skills in math and English/language arts. We have begun using this website in the classroom. The students have small sheets with their log in information. Please encourage your child to go onto this site - IXL.com - and practice all the skills available to them!
Multiplication - Please be sure your child studies multiplication facts 1-12 every night to help them become fluent and able to recall the product within 3 seconds. Rapid knowledge of these facts is essential for all future math learning. Using flashcards, online multiplication games, now including IXL, and writing the tables and fact families on paper are good activities to do for practice! Thank you for all your support!

Arrival to School -- Arrival to school for students on the 2nd floor (Grades 1-4) is 7:40 am.
- Students are to come into the school building using the main doors on the left side of the building. Mr. Lane and Mr. Thomas will direct students into the building at their appropriate times. Do not wait for a teacher to walk students into the school building.
- Students are tardy at 8:00 am. Please be sure to arrive before the 8:00 am bell.
Dismissal from School -
Grade 3's dismissal time is 2:00 pm.We ask that you are prompt in picking up your child at their dismissal time, and greatly appreciate your help and attention to this request. Thank you in advance for helping to make our dismissal a safe and efficient time for all!
