Greeting Students and Cheverus Families,

My name is Miss Monteforte, but you can call me Miss M. for short.

 I am very excited to be your First-Grade Teacher this year! Teaching is my passion! I started my teaching career in 2008. I have a bachelor’s degree in education and a minor in psychology from Bay Path University. I have a beautiful 20-year-old daughter currently attending college for an engineering degree. We live close by and have a beloved dog named Peppa.  

I am planning an exciting school year of learning and development. Most importantly, I want to instill student "ownership" and "responsibility" for their learning. At this age, they are ready to become individual leaders as well, and I can't wait to help them develop these skills and healthy school habits!
