Using Duolingo in Spanish Class
 
Welcome to a new resource for learning and practicing Spanish! This year, we’ll be using Duolingo as a complementary tool to strengthen our language skills.
 
Purpose
 
Duolingo will be used for practice both at home and occasionally in class, helping us reinforce vocabulary and concepts covered in our lessons. Each student is expected to dedicate weekly time to Duolingo, either by completing assigned lessons or progressing at their own pace.
 
How It Will Be Graded
 
Duolingo will be part of each student’s participation grade:
 
   •       At Home: Students are expected to complete the weekly assigned lessons as part of their homework.
   •       In Class: On some days, we’ll use Duolingo for class participation. This will allow us to practice interactively and answer any questions.
 
Tips
 
   •       Access Duolingo on a device with internet access.
   •       Try to work in small sessions throughout the week for consistent practice.
