The goal of the art program at Cheverus School is for all students to build confidence in expressing themselves artistically. To do this, students are exposed to art history and famous artists from around the world, in addition to creating their own projects in a variety of mediums and genres.
I do not expect all students to love all activities, nor do I expect “perfect” art. However, I do ask all students to be openminded and courageous. By providing students and you, their families, with a shared set of goals and expectations for their learning, I hope to encourage a safe and creative art community for all.
